Meet Susan

Susan Hart Wilson is a passionate wine enthusiast who transitioned into the wine business after several years of volunteering at food and wine events across Atlanta. She started her wine journey after landing a job working as a wine sales associate for a major retailer and later as a wine educator for a local university. 

Eventually she decided to dedicate her time to traveling, writing, and wine education. This decision opened opportunities for travel to various wine regions in the United States and abroad. However, Italy captured her heart most of all and led to extensive travel to several renowned wine regions, including Tuscany, Veneto, Lazio, Umbria, Marche, Campania, and Sicily.

She has earned the WSET Level III wine certification and was most recently accredited by the Vinitaly International Academy as an Italian Wine Ambassador (IWA). As a respected member of GuildSomm, Wine Scholar Guild, and Hue Society, Susan is an active and influential voice in the wine community and still enjoys volunteering at local food and cultural events. 

When she’s not dedicating herself to her wine education journey, look for her at local wine tastings and dinners, taking care of her “plant babies” and dreaming of new places to eat and travel.
